Leadership Appointment – Kory Kutchmarek
I am pleased to announce Kory Kutchmarek has joined Evolving Solutions as our next chief financial officer. Kory brings a wide range of finance leadership experience to this role.
Kory started his career in public accounting, working with a wide range of clients and industries. From there, he moved into private equity where he led the several acquisitions and divestitures of companies. Kory also served on the board of five companies to help management teams create and execute strategic plans for growth.
Kory has also had operational experience in finance leadership roles, most recently serving as chief financial officer for a conglomerate of consumer brand and sales agencies.
He will bring this experience to Evolving Solutions, as we prepare and execute our continued growth plans. In his new role, Kory will be responsible for all finance, operations, human resources, and legal functions.
Outside of Kory’s experience and skills, I am excited that Kory aligns extremely well with our Core Values of do the right thing, be a team player, and be humbly confident. Throughout our search process, Kory rose to the top as we evaluated candidates against these values. He will fit right in with our team, and I am excited to team with him moving forward.
Kory joins our team to fill the role being departed by Joel Wyttenhove. After serving as our controller, then vice president of finance and operations, and most recently as CFO, Joel has decided to retire from full time work. We are grateful to Joel for his 22 years of service to the company.
Since I joined the company almost seven years ago, Joel has been an amazing sounding board, teammate, and mentor. Our success is due in large part to Joel’s tireless work and contributions over the years. He has helped lead massive growth for our company since he started, and we would not where we are today without his thoughtfulness and leadership.
I am excited that Joel is not going too far. Joel is participating in a retirement transition program, where he is moving into a part time role assisting with financial analysis and forecasting. Joel is committed to ensuring a smooth transition for Kory, which is a continued testament to his leadership.
